This was my first attempt to use acrylic paints. I’m not sure where the idea came from. The inspiration for the leaves was the beautiful weeping willows at Kew Gardens. I also find ravens fascinating birds, intelligent and curious, and somehow the two came together in a work which is rather different from my more usual fruit and vegetables.
